Welcome to the summary of November 2022, the penultimate month of the year. This month there were some purchases, no sales and as always several dividends.
In November we incorporated a new company that it does not pay dividends, we want to keep in our portfolio for a long time (we will make expansions over time), is the holding company of Warren Buffet and Charlie Munger, Berkshire Hathaway.
Two of my wife’s cousins who work at Berkshire Hathaway Home Services (BH’s real estate company) went to the last Berkshire annual meeting in Omaha and told us that it was very interesting, in addition to Buffet and Munger there were important people like Bill Gates or Tim Cook to mention a few. We leave you a link to the CNBC broadcast in case you are interested.
We were invited to the next BH annual meeting in 2023. It would be an incredible experience to meet these two investment legends. If we go we will let you know 🙂
After the introduction, we are going to see the movements of the month of November in detail.
November 2022 Movements
Like every month, we are going to split the movements of the month into three blocks: purchases, sales and dividends to make reading more enjoyable.
Purchases
This month we made some purchases in the United States, stocks focused on increasing dividends, except for a company that does not distribute but that we like a lot. These were the purchases made in November:

- 320 x Eagle Point Credit Company (ECC)

Note: the percentages above are calculated using this tool.
November 2022 Overview
This month our portfolio continued to grow due to the economic upturn, the rise in the US dollar-euro pair and the purchases in November.
At the end of the month, our portfolio has increased by +13.64% compared to last month, leaving a value at the end of November of +128,503.6 euros (we are very close to the objective set for this year 2022 of reaching a value of 130k).

This month, after our trip to the United States, we have decided to translate the website into English in order to reach more investors in their mother tongue. In the United States the investment culture there is incredible, even in a Burger King you can see the evolution of the markets on screens.
We are currently working on translating all published companies, as well as the monthly summaries. We will keep you informed next month.
Farewell
As we already anticipated this month, we were on vacation for two weeks in the United States, this trip has helped us to appreciate more where we live and our country in many aspects.
We were in San Francisco (the cradle of technology) but personally we were very disappointed by several things, runaway inflation. Example a pint bottle of water at a store called Old Navy (a store similar to Primark) was $10. We were shocked by the number of homeless people roaming downtown San Francisco, we saw horrible things that are better left unsaid. The streets are very dirty, the smell of marijuana and a great feeling of insecurity.
We were also in Denver, Chicago and New York. In Denver and Chicago we were caught by a storm of cold and snow -10 degrees on the street with a wind chill of -15 degrees Celsius. With this weather it was difficult to do a lot of sightseeing, although we went to visit friends and family.
Finally New York did not disappoint as always, it is still our favorite city 🙂
And here is the November 2022 summary, we hope that your portfolios continue to enjoy good health and that the snowball continues to grow, until the next investors!
