AT&T Inc, owes its name to the acronym of American Telephone and Telegraph.
It is the world’s largest telecommunications company, the largest provider of wireless telephone services, and the largest provider of landline telephone services in the United States through AT&T Communications.

AT&T shareholders will receive 0.24 shares of the new company Warner Bros Discovery (ticker WBD) and will control 71% of the new company.
